#Fast4Yemen

Calling all students, activists, individuals:

Global Fast for Yemen on April 30th

On Friday, April 30th fast from sunrise to sunset in solidarity with the people of Yemen. Together, we will abstain from food and water to call attention to the millions of Yemenis facing starvation, thirst, disease, and political violence. #YemenCantWait #EndTheBlockade

Nearly 2.3 million children under the age of five in Yemen are projected to suffer from acute malnutrition in 2021 [...] Of these, 400,000 are expected to suffer from severe acute malnutrition and could die if they do not receive urgent treatment.

UNICEF, 02/12/2021
